Dentre seus objetivos est\u00e3o:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Datar a gesta\u00e7\u00e3o com maior acuidade;<\/li><li>Diagnosticar a gesta\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00faltipla e respectiva corionicidade, o que \u00e9 o principal determinante do progn\u00f3stico destas gesta\u00e7\u00f5es;<\/li><li>Determinar o Grupo de Risco das pacientes para cromossomopatias do seu feto e posteriormente, sugerir prosseguimento ou n\u00e3o do exame diagn\u00f3stico.<\/li><li>Diagnosticar outras malforma\u00e7\u00f5es fetais n\u00e3o necessariamente relacionadas \u00e0s s\u00edndromes como: malforma\u00e7\u00f5es card\u00edacas, megabexiga, onfalocele, anencefalia, espinha b\u00edfida, entre outras;<\/li><li>Outra vantagem, recentemente descrita, \u00e9 a de identificar as pacientes com
